Baby Trip!

Madelyn and I went on a road trip to visit all the brand new babies!! In Austin, we met precious baby Caden! He was only 1 week old...

Then we went to play with Layla and meet baby Ellis. Ellis was so sweet and the girls had a great time together!

Then we drove down to San Antonio to meet my new nephew! Robert was only 1 week old and slept almost the entire time, so I had lots of cuddle time!

Thank goodness we brought one of M's baby dolls. She played mommy to her baby while we were all obsessed with Robert! the bouncy seat...

Melissa's Baby Shower!

We went to Austin for Melissa's baby shower. Melissa and I are friends from college, and it was wonderful to see her!

That evening we went down to South Congress with Jen and Gui and Sonja. We went out for pizza and then cooled off with shaved ice!

Swimming Lessons #2

A few pics from M's second session of lessons...her friend Aurora was with her this time!

Dr. Madelyn! She loves to play doc these days. Yesterday, Clint had an octopus in his tummy, and she had to cut him open to get it out. This was repeated with the neck, chest, etc. She also likes to check your reflexes, give you shots, take your temp...but her favorite thing is cutting you open :)
We went to a David Chicken show. Basically a guy wearing a chicken hat while singing and dancing! It was entertaining enough, but we were hot and couldn't even see that well so we left.
Ever since my parents kept her, she is obsessed with milkshakes! Here she is with a purple one from Purple Cow Diner
We went to a splash pad with some friends. Madelyn and Flora playing...
"Summer Camp" is over and we have a short break before school starts again. Summer camp and school (mother's day out) are the same thing, they just did more of the fun stuff over the summer. The kids put on a little presentation for the parents on the last day. Here's Madelyn stomping, raising her arms, and clapping. I also had the video camera and got some good clips on that. I'll try to get them uploaded so you can see M breaking it down!
