Big Sister Bed!!

Madelyn has been in her big bed for at least a month now. It was such an easy transition. Thankfully she doesn't ever get out! There was lots of excitement the day we took the crib apart and moved it into the nursery.

She now loves to play in the crib! Madelyn and Drew were pretending to be at Sea World with their babies...so cute :)

The other night when Clint came home from work, Madelyn ran to him and announced, "I'm going to make you beautiful!"This was what she had in mind...

BEAUTIFUL! :) I love that Clint played along :)

Derby Day and more

Clint and I went to a disco birthday party! The bday girl is a mom from our neighborhood playgroup. The band was Le Freak and they were awesome! So much fun!

The mom's organization I'm in hosted Derby Day! There was a 5K followed by activities for the kids.

Clint actually ran the race, but while we were waiting, Madelyn practiced crossing the finish line a few times :)

She apparently needed some Gatorade after that hard work-out!

Madelyn's babysitter, London, was in a Cinderella musical, so we went to the matinee. Kids could wear their royal attire!

After Derby Day, we went to our friend's (Amanda and Eric) pool for a Cinco de Mayo pool party. Here she is with a chance at the pinata. I don't think the blind fold was really necessary for her ;)

Then we went back to their house for the kids to play and to make cookies. I didn't get a pic of M and Jacob together, but here is M making cookies with Eric. Next time I'll take a pic of the kids.

EASTER!

We spent Easter weekend in Lubbock, with the usual festivities....

When we're in Lubbock, my dad and Madelyn always make breakfast together for everyone. Madelyn loves cooking with him (and the rest of us like to eat!)

I was given this baby bath (thanks Kristy), and Madelyn immediately pulled it out of the box and put it to use with her baby doll. She is such a good little mommy! She has informed me that she will wash the baby's hair when he/she is born!

Bluebonnets

Clint was out of town and Madelyn and I decided to have a little photo shoot in the beautiful bluebonnets!
