Parties!

Birthday parties always come in spurts. We had three in one day recently! here goes...

Cole's 4 year old pool party!

Emma's 3 year old princess party! We took lots of pics at this one...it was really cute! Madelyn and Emma (and someone standing behind them)...

All the kids were given princess/prince costumes...M was Sleeping Beauty

then an obstacle course was set up and at the end you had to sword fight with a knight...she got him!

then off to party #3. Jackson's 3 year old bounce house birthday! Dresses aren't great for climbing the giant inflatable slide, so I had to tuck the dress into her bloomers...lovely :)

and Batman! Madelyn wasn't brave enough to take a picture by herself. Our neighbor was there, so they braved Batman together!
and what happens to a 2 year old after an entire day filled with cake, candy, punch, ice cream, and more? THIS...
She had a HUGE meltdown before bed and was screaming at me and slamming her bedroom door in my face! awesome.

While we were away...

It looks like Madelyn had an absolute blast while Clint and I were on vaca! She stayed with my parents and they fit in tons of fun things...

Fort Worth Stockyards...they watched the cattle drive

then had lunch at a delicious mexican food restaurant, where a large amount of queso was obviously consumed...

Chocolate milkshakes!!! oh, maybe they bought the ingredients at wal-mart?

They stopped by Whole Foods for some pizza...

and went shopping at the brand new Cabelas...

Madelyn got a trim!

Wow! more eating! I don't even know how they fit this many meals in...we weren't gone that long :) Of course, they went to Pappadeaux...

They even had yummy breakfasts! Here are chocolate croissants, eggs, and jelly!

And these are the bracelets we brought back for everyone! They are kind of like friendship bracelets but cooler, and they are personalized...fancy :)

Thanks Mom and Dad for taking such great care of her and for taking all these great photos so everyone can see what y'all were up to!

Cabo!!

Clint and I were able to sneak away for a few days to Cabo!!
I just love 2 people vacations where you only take pictures of each other, and don't actually get any together ;) At least I put the pictures side by side :)

We went parasailing! Neither of us had done this before, and it's not scary at all like I thought. We saw a huge sting ray down in the ocean while we were flying!

We also drove (well, I rode) dune buggies! This was sooo much fun! Super dirty and rough, but tons of fun! You wear a helmet and goggles and the rest of your face is covered with a bandana. We were covered in dirt from head to toe when we finished!

We drove through an empty riverbed, the dessert, and finished up along the shore. There were several places to do jumps which was the coolest part!! We definitely got some air!! The guide knew a few pretty places to stop and take pictures...

And we took a glass bottom boat out to the arch!

Any other time, we were laying at the pool! In fact, the last day, we wore our swimsuits down to breakfast, then stayed at the pool until we had to go back to our room to change clothes for dinner. It was awesome!

Me being a huge dork! The entertainment one night was the songs from Grease being acted out. In case you didn't know, I am a HUGE Grease fan and know all the words to every song! And I definitely sang along throughout the entire show...I wasn't the only one. The pic is me doing my own version of "Grease Lightning" while they were setting up that morning! A few employees were around cleaning and setting up, and they just laughed at me :)

My nephew is here!

Baby Robert was born today (July 18th), he is 20.5 inches and weighs 8 lbs 11 oz. A big boy! Congratulations Kyle and Kristy!!

Madelyn is really excited! She made Kristy a bracelet to take as a present for having a baby! We can't wait to go to San Antonio to meet him!! :)

Fun-filled Fourth!

We began the day with swimming lessons, then headed out for some fishing! Little Miss Priss won't touch the worms :)
