Kyle gets married!

In June, we went to San Antonio for Kyle and Kristy's wedding! The wedding, as well as the whole long weekend, was lots of fun. We really enjoyed seeing so much family!

Madelyn working out at the hotel :)

My mom and I took Madelyn to the SA children's museum during some down time one morning...playing banker...

silly faces with my cousins, Benjamin and Sara

We rode up to the top of the tower for a view of SA

getting a souvenir penny!

Madelyn was the beautiful flowergirl! With Papa...

Robert looked so cute in his little outfit! I carried him down the aisle and everyone oohed and aawed

I think this is the only pic I got of the bride and groom. Kristy looked gorgeous!

M with Brittney and Major at the reception.

This was Robert by the end of the night! so cute! I can not say the same for Madelyn. She danced the night away and never got tired!

M and Robert with Mackenzie and Maddison

The day after the wedding was fathers day so we stopped at the Gristmill in Gruene for a scenic lunch...

Clint's birthday was at the end of June...31...wow! Nana came to visit. Here she is reading to the little bee :)

Clint LOVES the tres leches cake from Chuy's so I picked one up for his birthday!

 Madelyn likes it too!

Pregnancy update

Well, I'm almost up to date! I am 25 weeks now and these pictures were taken at 20 weeks. I'm afraid I'm much bigger now :) I'm feeling great though...no complaints! This pregnancy hasn't been much different from the first one, which was why I was kind of surprised to find out it's a BOY!! I can already tell I am carrying him much lower than I did Madelyn, but that's about it. everything else has been the same as I remember. I don't remember Madelyn feeling this low until the end when she dropped. This little boy is already causing so much pressure....I can't imagine how I'll feel when he drops...I might not be able to walk :)
Madelyn is already a great big sister! She loves to hug, kiss, sing and talk to her baby brother, whom she has named Charlie! That name is still up for debate ;)
Clint and M building a dresser/changing table for baby...
just for comparison...me about the same time when pregnant with Madelyn...
sweet Madelyn

FUN!

We grew these grass heads from seeds! Madelyn enjoyed planting, watering, and watching them grow, but the best part was haircut time! You can see her with the scissors and "hairspray" here...

We've been to several birthday parties lately. Lincoln had a super hero party and the kids were supposed to dress up. We don't exactly have any of your typical super hero costumes so M created her own. Tiara, cape, tutu, and purple furry high heels, and Voila..."Super Madelyn to save the Earth!"
 flying...
Jensen had a mini golf party! Madelyn participated for about 3 holes...
and then found walking the balance beams much more exciting...

Lucy Kate had a swim party...
 Anna and M eating cake!
Holden's gymnastics party. M sliding into the pit!
this one is out of order...super  heroes!

Top Golf

Auntie Katie and Lance came to visit! Besides eating a lot, we went to top golf! It is a two story driving range, and you play kind of like bowling. there are micro chips in the balls and you get points for hitting to certain places. bad description, but maybe you get the gist. I was afraid Madelyn might get bored, but she loved this place! we will have to take her again...
M getting a lesson...

not sure why I am helping her...I can hardly hit the ball myself :)
Lance...

me and Katie
and Madelyn ordered a chocolate brownie sundae as big as her head! :)
Thanks for coming to see us guys! come back soon!

San Antonio

above: Mother's Day! Clint and Madelyn made me breakfast :)

the rest of the pics are from our family trip to San Antonio in May! We go every year and stay at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch...it's the best place!

Granny and Papa with us...
my parents at the riverwalk. this is such a great picture! they look really young! :)
My nephew, Robert. Adorable! love those eyes...
 s'mores! Aunt Sharon and M...
 group shot...well, most of us
Our friends from Dallas, the Harns, were there too! It was so fun to get to hang out with them as well. Lincoln, Jackson, and Madelyn at the s'mores pit...
We found a little snake one night (in the crack)
and used a modern day flashlight to investigate (Iphone :) )
We spent all day every day at the pool, lazy river, beach...
 too cute!
 M and Robert
Me and Kristy with the kids...
 fun with Daddy...

they took turns covering each other with sand

 I buried Madelyn...
 then Robert...
 My cousin's little cutie, Paige!
My Dad made these banana boat things. They were a huge hit...chocolate, dulce de leche, marshmallows...I'm not sure what else. I don't like bananas, so I'll take everyone's word that they were amazing
The last day, when everyone else headed home that morning, we went to Sea World! We drove back to Dallas later that day and were all exhausted. well worth it though!
Madelyn was just tall enough to go on a real ride! and she was brave enough too :) it was a boat roller coaster with a big drop at the end into the water!
 They got soaked!
 a kiddie ride...
finally, feeding dolphins! this was the coolest thing...M loved it!
