Big News!!!

Well, it's been forever...again. Everyone in my family has been reminding me of this, repeatedly :) But if you haven't given up on me yet, you will be glad :) We have some news!!! Scroll through the progression of pics below..............

13 weeks to be exact, due in October. So Madelyn and the new baby will be exactly 4 years apart! We told Madelyn the good news last week, and oh my gosh! she was so excited and really cute about it! She said I want to hug the baby and hugged my tummy! then started talking about if it was a boy or girl and what we should name it. And she said Mommy, now you can park in the pregnant people parking spots! too funny. She has since told me she needs a big sister bed now because the baby will sleep in her crib when it comes out of my tummy. So that's next on the list around here...moving beds around to different bedrooms and figuring out how to make room for a baby in this house :)

Fun Friday Night!

A few weekends ago, we were looking for something different to do and ended up at a putt-putt type place.

Then she rode her first g0-kart! She was really excited going into it...
But the first lap around, she was almost in tears!
It only took a second lap to be all smiles again and waving at me! She ended up loving it and has asked to go back :)

Carter!

Madelyn's dear friend, Carter , who now lives in Houston, came to visit! these kids had not seen each other in 9 months, I think, and they had a great time together. And it was great to get to see and catch up with Jordan!

Zoo with Bliss!

Amy (a best friend from Lubbock) and her family are living in Ft. Worth for 4 months. While that's still an hour away, we are trying to take advantage and see each other as often as possible. Recently, we took the girls to the Ft Worth zoo!

It's not even summer yet, but it was really hot outside. Madelyn cooled off in a fountain
and left the zoo soaked :)
Madelyn and I were amazed that Bliss fell asleep in her stroller and then stayed asleep in her carseat!
Madelyn got a kick out of it, so she decided to pretend to take a nap. Yep, that's all I get in the car...pretend naps!
