Home for a wedding and the long weekend...

This picture kinda sums up our weekend...relaxing with family outside. I love my parents backyard and we spent as much time out there as possible...eating, playing washers, playing ping pong, swimming, playing in the sandbox...

If you are a follower of my blog, you might remember that Madelyn made cupcakes with her Popio last time we visited, and they made them again this trip! We may have started a tradition...Madelyn is going to expect cupcakes from now on! My dad gave Madelyn a chef hat to match his and my mom rigged an apron to stay on her...she was ready!!...

She helped in every step of the process...Popio said she is getting pretty good at cracking eggs!

Then, time to eat...Madelyn and Daddy dig in...face first!

She likes to get in and out of the pool, then sit on your lap to make sure everyone gets wet!

and Uncle Nathan came to try his hand at washers and ping pong...

as if we hadn't eaten enough all weekend, we made marshmallow milkshakes...yum yum!

Finally, a trip to the park. Madelyn has recently discovered tire swings and loves them!
