My Baby Can Read...

or at least will learn...hopefully...with the "Your Baby Can Read" DVD and book series. My Granny and Papa sent it to us (thanks so much!) and we watched the first video this morning. No reading yet, but I hear these things take time :)

She was very excited to open a present...

hand me the scissors...I can do this myself!
After seeing the contents, she shouted "book, book, book"
and immediately began to "read"

oh yeah, and playing with the box was pretty fun too!

Madelyn has recently started laying on her stomach to do things...draw, read, play. She looks like such a big girl when she does it...
and most nights, Clint and Madelyn go out to look at the moon. When he asks her if she wants to go, she says "blanket" and gets excited. Clint wraps her up and they head outside...except she rarely sees the moon because she doesn't even lift her head off his shoulder. It has become this relaxing ritual for both of them. Clint walks up and down the sidewalk singing to her...aren't they sweet?!
