Madelyn was not shy and took the job of trying to blow out the candles. Some others helped...pretty sure they were all just spitting on the cake! This did not keep any of the moms from having a piece :)

At the end, we passed out candy canes and read this to the kids. I wanted to share in case any of you have not seen this before (I had never seen it before...thanks Katie for bringing)Look at the Candy Cane, what do you see?

Hi Lana! I'm just catching up on blogs from over the holidays, and I love this one! Such a sweet idea. Thanks for sharing it...I'm excited to get to start traditions like this with Addison when she is old enough.
