Madelyn helped with ALL the cooking. Neither of my parents could be in the kitchen without Madelyn coming to "help". She even helped to make her very own pie...there was extra pie crust left over and we couldn't let it go to waste :)

We drove out to a nearby farm to see some exotic animals. My mom was sure it was ok to just stop by and look, and it was...until we got caught and kicked out! We had already seen all the animals by that time anyway :)

We ordered pizza one night and ALL Madelyn ate was the parmesan cheese!
Her hair was up in a high ponytail one day, and I think it made her feel spunky! She had a whole different attitude!
