ICE!!!

Clint, Madelyn, and I went to the Ice exhibit at the Gaylord Texan resort. Before you enter the exhibit, you have to watch a video about the making of it all. We learned that a team of artists are flown in from China to build the whole thing. Then parkas are passed out to all guests as you enter. It was 9 degrees in there and we were freezing, but all the ice sculptures were amazing! The theme this year was Charlie Brown...

We were very fluffy and looked like marshmallows in all our clothes with giant parkas on top!
eskimo kisses...
There were even ice slides!! Kids were not allowed to ride on laps, so Madelyn had to go down the (children's) slide all by herself...she did awesome...
We tried to take a picture so you could have an idea what the slides were like, but I think we were too far ahead in line to really show anything. here is what we got...
Clint made me pretend to get my tongue stuck :)
The Gaylord also had tons of other holiday stuff to look at and do. This was a train exhibit...
the decorations were really fun...
a giant gingerbread house that was a real candy store inside!
Madelyn in the blinking red lights hat they were passing out...

  1. 1) we didn't have to watch a video so interesting to learn via your blog who made it... 2)Carter did NOT want one of those blinking light hats (which is weird since he LOVES all truck blinking lights) but wouldn't even let me keep it in the jogger. He said, "put it back on the table!"
